A Merry Hello for The Spot Creative Challenge

Hey Y'all!

Today I have a fun Holiday card. Not every card I send is a Christmas card. Sometimes it's just fun to have a hello or thinking of you card that fits the feeling of the season. This card does just that. It's got all kinds of a Christmas feel to it but it's not a "Christmas card".

And y'all this one is going into my CASE file. Do you have a CASE file? For me, having a file on my computer that has cards in it that I want to make again but in a different theme or color way. This beauty will be seen again! Let's dive into the details.

Details for today's card

This is a top folding card made out of Crumb Cake. I then layered Mossy Meadow and a layer of DSP from the Tis' The Season 6"x6" paper pack. On top of that I added a layer of Pear Piazza cardstock that I stamped with the A Merry Hello Host set. I wrapped two ribbons around the card front and knotted them. I love this Mossy Meadow Diagonal Striped ribbon. It's so silky and ties beautifully! And the Real Red Braided Twine is a must have (and will come in a new color in the January to June Mini Catalog) Then I die cut one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies in Mossy Meadow. I ran that piece through the Wrapped in Textures embossing folder. Then I took Whisper White and Real Red and layered them as my sentiment location. The greeting "A Merry Hello" with the addition of a few holly leaves completes this card.

Here is a close up of that embossing folder on the tag. It's just giving this card life!! I did use dimentionals under the tag to give it a little lift so the ribbon went under a little easier.
